Product description

ABB F204B-63/0 is a four-pole residual current circuit breaker from the F200 B series. As an all-current-sensitive Type B version, this device family detects sinusoidal AC residual currents, pulsating DC residual currents and smooth DC residual currents. This distinction is relevant in electrical installations where electronic equipment can generate residual-current components that exceed the detection range of a conventional Type A circuit breaker. The version is rated for 63 A, 230/400 V AC and 50/60 Hz. Its four-pole enclosure is 70 mm wide and mounts on a 35-mm DIN rail. F204-B versions from 25 to 63 A have a rated impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV, a rated residual making and breaking capacity of 1 kA, and a conditional rated short-circuit current of 10 kA with the appropriate upstream fuse. The terminals accept conductor cross-sections from 1 to 25 mm², with a specified tightening torque of 2.8 Nm. Enclosure and terminals provide IP4X and IP2X protection respectively. The available F204B-63/0 identifier does not uniquely define the rated residual current; that value is found on the device marking. Further identifying characteristics are the pole count, rated current, mains voltage and Type B characteristic. The series follows IEC/EN 61008-1, IEC/EN 61008-2-1 and DIN EN 62423, with 10.000 electrical and 20.000 mechanical operations. Dimensions of 85 × 69 × 70 mm and a weight of approximately 380 g define the mechanical installation requirements.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Contact us
Which rated residual current applies to ABB F204B-63/0?

The available identifier ends in /0 and does not uniquely distinguish the ABB versions rated at 0.03 A, 0.3 A or 0.5 A. The device marking provides the applicable rated residual current.

What does Type B mean for this residual current circuit breaker?

Type B designates an all-current-sensitive version that can detect smooth DC residual currents as well as AC and pulsating DC residual currents. Suitability for a particular installation depends on its protection concept and the manufacturer's specifications.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.

Which payment terms apply?

The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.

Can I request individual pricing for several items?

You may request an individual quotation for several items or larger quantities. We then check availability and pricing for the specific requirement; there is no entitlement to a quantity discount. Open the quick enquiry.

Do you also purchase industrial spare parts?

Yes. You can offer us automation and drive components for purchase. Please provide complete type numbers, quantities, condition details and photographs where possible.

After review, we will tell you whether a purchase is possible and on which terms. Learn more about selling industrial stock.
