With a width of 200 mm, a height of 99 mm and a depth of 85 mm, the B&R X20CP3686X controller accommodates three slots for additional X20 interface modules. The weight is 530 g, measured with battery and the X20TB12 terminal block. The CompactFlash card, slot covers and right end plate are not included in this weight. As the CPU of the X20 system, this version operates with an Atom processor at 1.3 GHz. The memory comprises 1 GB of LPDDR4-SDRAM, 1 MB of SRAM and 2 GB of eMMC flash. The usable share of the SRAM depends on the retentive variables configured in Automation Studio. For an order of the X20CP3686X with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations, the complete type designation remains decisive for this processor and memory version. Cooling is fanless. Horizontal and vertical mounting orientations are provided; the permissible operating temperatures differ between them. Horizontally the range is −25 to 60 °C, vertically −25 to 50 °C, in each case taking derating into account. For the X2X Link supply, a reduction of the nominal output power to 5 W is provided above 55 °C. The degree of protection is IP20. The CPU and X2X Link are supplied with 24 V DC at a permissible tolerance of −20 to +25 %. Ethernet provides a shielded RJ45 connector with 10, 100 or 1000 Mbit/s. POWERLINK uses a further RJ45 connector and operates at 100 Mbit/s. The serial RS232 connection is made via the X20TB12 terminal block. Two USB-1.1/2.0 ports are designed as type A; for removable application memory, the controller has a CompactFlash slot.

Which network interfaces does the X20CP3686X have?
The controller has an Ethernet interface with 10/100/1000 Mbit/s and a POWERLINK interface with 100 Mbit/s. Both connectors are designed as RJ45.
How many slots for interface modules are available?
The X20CP3686X has three slots for X20 interface modules.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?
The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.
A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?
The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.
International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.
Can I request individual pricing for several items?
