Product description
The code letter W in the type code of the Bosch Rexroth DDS02.1-W100-D stands for cooling with control cabinet air: the air flows internally through the basic unit, so the dissipated heat remains inside the control cabinet. The digital AC servo drive controller belongs to the Indramat DIAX02 system, series 02 in version 1. The number 100 indicates the type and peak current of 100 A, which is available for short periods during acceleration; continuously, at most 60 A are possible. The controller is supplied from a shared DC bus with 300 V DC ±15 %, and the L+ and L− terminals are located behind the transparent cover on the front. For its electronics it requires 150 mA each from +15 V and −15 V as well as 500 mA from +24 V. The suffix D identifies the evaluation of digital servo feedback; suitable motors come from the MDD, MKD, LAR and LAF series. The communication module, software and firmware sit as plug-in modules in slots U1 to U5; the photo shows a module with a 15-pin Sub-D socket X2 at the bottom, while the remaining slots are empty. The front panel carries the Indramat lettering, the designation Digital AC Servo Controller and the type designation. The housing achieves degree of protection IP20 and belongs in a closed control cabinet; permissible ambient temperatures are 0 to 45 °C, and the installation altitude is limited to 1000 m. Compared with the liquid-cooled variant DDS02.1-F100-D of the same current class, this version does without a coolant connection. Which currents does the DDS02.1-W100-D deliver?
The peak current is 100 A and the continuous current at most 60 A; the controller is supplied from a DC bus with 300 V DC ±15 %.
How is the controller cooled?
With air from the control cabinet that flows through the basic unit; the dissipated heat therefore remains inside the control cabinet. This is what the code letter W in the type code stands for.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
