The DC input distinguishes Control Techniques SPMD1404 within the Unidrive-SPM power modules from versions with direct AC input. The module forms the inverter stage with AC drive output; the associated voltage class of the drive system is 380 to 480 V AC with a tolerance of ±10 %. For selection, the two duty types must be considered separately. In Heavy-Duty operation, the maximum continuous current is 290 A, with a typical motor power of 160 kW at 400 V or 250 HP at 460 V. In Normal-Duty operation, 350 A and a typical motor power of 200 kW at 400 V or 300 HP at 460 V are specified. The full current of 350 A requires that SPMD and SPMC are mounted separately, that each module receives its own airflow and that the ambient temperature does not exceed 35 °C. Otherwise the limit is 335 A. For an order with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations, the identifier SPMD1404 is therefore decisive together with the intended duty type and the mounting arrangement. The cooling fans are supplied separately with 24 V DC; for this power module, the current demand of the fan supply is 5.0 A. The version includes dynamic braking control. The assigned minimum braking resistance is 3.8 Ω, and the specified braking power is 160 kW both instantaneously and as an average over 60 seconds. For the DC side, the fuse selection specifies 560 A in semiconductor class aR. The module identifier designates the individual power stage; additional suffixes for complete system configurations are to be distinguished from this identity.

Under which conditions do 350 A apply in Normal-Duty operation?
This current applies when SPMD and SPMC are mounted separately, with their own airflow per module and an ambient temperature of no more than 35 °C. Otherwise the limit is 335 A.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?
The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.
A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?
The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.
International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.
