The Control Techniques UNI1402 is a frequency inverter from the Unidrive Classic series for industrial three-phase motors. Its documented rated power is 1.1 kW or 1.5 hp. The inverter operates from a three-phase supply in the range 380 to 480 V and is designed for 50/60 Hz. At a switching frequency of 3 kHz, the documented rated output current is 2.8 A. Control Techniques specifies a typical input current of 4.3 A and a maximum continuous input current of 5.5 A for this drive size. The associated mains fuse rating is 10 A, while the documented cable cross-section is 2.5 mm² or 14 AWG. V/f control and sensorless vector control support different motor and machine applications.
