Danfoss 130B1235 is the coated version of the VLT PROFINET MCA 120 communication option. The fieldbus module connects compatible Danfoss frequency converters to PROFINET-based automation networks and enables control, parameterisation and diagnostics via Industrial Ethernet. Danfoss documents order number 130B1235 with a coated PCB meeting Class 3C3 according to IEC 60721-3-3; the uncoated standard version has order number 130B1135. The module supports PROFINET schema versions 2.2 and 2.3 and operates according to Conformance Class B. Two Ethernet ports with an integrated switch facilitate line topologies without requiring an external switch for every connection. For a single connection, Danfoss specifies an Actual Packet Interval down to 2 ms in both directions. MRP supports ring networks with increased availability. DP-V1 diagnostics transmit warning and fault information to the PLC in a standardised format. An integrated web server is also available for remote diagnostics and reading basic drive parameters, together with several network services: DCP for network settings, LLDP for topology detection, HTTP for web access, SMTP for email notifications and TCP/IP for access using the VLT Motion Control Tool MCT 10. The option is documented for the VLT HVAC Drive FC 102, VLT Refrigeration Drive FC 103, VLT AQUA Drive FC 202 and VLT AutomationDrive FC 301 and FC 302. For a safe replacement, the exact order number, required coated version, option slot and approval for the installed drive series must match. Installation, addressing and commissioning may only be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with the Danfoss instructions.

What is the difference between Danfoss 130B1235 and 130B1135?
130B1235 is the coated MCA-120 version meeting Class 3C3 according to IEC 60721-3-3. 130B1135 is the uncoated standard version.
Which Danfoss drive series are documented for MCA 120?
Danfoss lists the VLT HVAC Drive FC 102, VLT Refrigeration Drive FC 103, VLT AQUA Drive FC 202 and VLT AutomationDrive FC 301 and FC 302. Check the specific option approval for the installed drive before installation.
Is there a guarantee?
