Product description

Within the FANUC AC servo motor series, A06B-0502-B006 is the Model 20 in its standard configuration. The B006 ending identifies a motor without a holding brake and with an incremental encoder providing 3,000 pulses per revolution. This version also has a smooth, straight shaft. The order number, feedback system and mechanical design therefore remain clearly assigned to this exact configuration. Model 20 has an output rating of 3.5 kW and a stall torque of 22.5 Nm at 20 °C. Continuous RMS current at stall is 19.7 A. The theoretical maximum motor torque is 147 Nm; the value available in operation depends on the current limit of the associated drive amplifier. Maximum speed is 2,000 min⁻¹. Electrical characteristics include a torque constant of 11.7 kg·cm/Arms, a back-EMF constant of 40 V per 1,000 min⁻¹ and an armature resistance of 0.17 Ohm. Rotor inertia is 0.017 N·m·s². The mechanical time constant is 6 ms, while the thermal time constant is 65 min. For the standard incremental version of Model 20, overall length A is 346 mm and housing length B is 271 mm. The locating diameter measures Ø 172 mm, and four Ø 13.5 mm mounting holes are positioned on a Ø 200 mm pitch circle. Motor weight is 34 kg. Separate circular connectors are provided for the power connection and incremental encoder. The series is self-cooled. The flange has a square base shape, with the shaft centred in the locating diameter and the connectors positioned at the rear.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Contact us
Which version does B006 identify on the FANUC A06B-0502?

B006 identifies the Model 20 standard version without a holding brake and with an incremental encoder providing 3,000 pulses per revolution.

What are the main ratings of FANUC Model 20?

The specified ratings are 3.5 kW, 22.5 Nm stall torque at 20 °C, 19.7 Arms stall current and a maximum speed of 2,000 min⁻¹.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.

Which payment terms apply?

The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.

Can I request individual pricing for several items?

You may request an individual quotation for several items or larger quantities. We then check availability and pricing for the specific requirement; there is no entitlement to a quantity discount. Open the quick enquiry.

Do you also purchase industrial spare parts?
