Heidenhain 216 750-BF is an enclosed incremental linear encoder from the LS 703 series with a 720 mm measuring length. Its aluminium profile contains a glass scale with DIADUR graduation and a 20 µm grating period. The scanning unit supplies sinusoidal current signals of 11 µAₛₛ. Accuracy grade is documented as ±5.0 µm. Power is supplied at 5 V with a tolerance of ±5 %. A 0.30 m connecting cable with a 9-pin connector in version 34S09 provides the electrical connection. The flexible end block type R couples the scanning carriage to the moving machine component and accommodates limited mounting deviations.
