Between the mains side and the DC link, the Heidenhain UVR120D-390188-01 supplies a modular inverter system. As a regenerative unit, it returns braking energy from the DC link to the power network. The design uses a three-phase input voltage of 400 V with a tolerance of ±10 % and a mains frequency of 50 to 60 Hz. DC-link ratings comprise 22 kW rated power, 30 kW peak power in S6-40 % operation and a further short-duration peak power of 40 kW. The DC-link voltage is 650 V. The electronics supplies are specified separately. Current consumption is 270 mA at 15 V and 310 mA at 24 V. The corresponding current-carrying capacity is 3.5 A and 4.0 A respectively; the 5-V branch additionally supports 29 A. Power loss is approximately 300 W. The UVR-120D series uses air cooling and carries an IP20 protection rating. Control and power modules receive their electronics supplies within the modular arrangement and share the central DC link. ID 390188-01 identifies the initial UVR 120D version with a revised power supply and additional diagnostic functions. The regenerative inverter system includes a commutating reactor and a line filter. The reactor also acts as an energy buffer for the boost converter, while the line filter limits interference during regenerative operation. A braking resistor module and DC-link filters are additional components in the modular arrangement. Series, ID, power ratings and supply connections are the technical identifiers for this version. Module width is 150 mm and weight is approximately 12 kg.
