Product description

Via the AIF interface, the Lenze EMF2175IB establishes fieldbus communication between a Lenze drive controller and a DeviceNet or CANopen network. The attachable communication module supports the 82XX, 8200 vector and 93XX controller series as well as the 9300 Servo PLC. Its communication profile is selected using a DIP switch. The node address and baud rate are also set there, allowing the module to be matched to the respective network configuration without a separate operator unit. For DeviceNet, the module operates as a slave. Depending on the selected profile, transmission rates of 10, 20, 50, 125, 250, 500 or 1000 kbit/s are available. The node address can be set for up to 63 network nodes. The bus uses a line topology and is terminated at both ends with 120 ohms. Pluggable screw terminals provide the electrical connection; two LEDs indicate the communication status. CAN communication is based on the transmission medium specified by DIN ISO 11898. Profile selection, physical bus and controller connection therefore form a clearly defined module function. Power can be supplied internally through the connected controller. A separate 24 V DC supply with ±10 percent tolerance and a maximum of 100 mA maintains bus communication even when the drive controller is switched off. A separate power supply unit is used for this mode. The permissible operating temperature range extends from minus 20 to 60 degrees Celsius. At approximately 75 x 62 x 36 mm, the module retains the compact AIF format. Product identifier, bus profile, node address, baud rate and external supply are the main technical assignment characteristics of the EMF2175IB.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Contact us
Which communication profiles does the Lenze EMF2175IB support?

The module supports DeviceNet and CANopen; the communication profile is selected using a DIP switch.

Can the EMF2175IB be supplied externally?

A separate 24 V DC supply with ±10 percent tolerance and a maximum of 100 mA maintains bus communication when the controller is switched off.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.

Which payment terms apply?

The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.

Can I request individual pricing for several items?

You may request an individual quotation for several items or larger quantities. We then check availability and pricing for the specific requirement; there is no entitlement to a quantity discount. Open the quick enquiry.

Do you also purchase industrial spare parts?

Yes. You can offer us automation and drive components for purchase. Please provide complete type numbers, quantities, condition details and photographs where possible.

After review, we will tell you whether a purchase is possible and on which terms. Learn more about selling industrial stock.
