Product description

With the Mitsubishi Electric FX2N-20GM, two axes can be interpolated together or programmed independently of each other. The positioning controller of the MELSEC-F family outputs pulse trains to the downstream drive units. Both linear movements and circular interpolation are available. The operating mode determines the frequency limit: a maximum of 200 kHz is specified for pulse output, and a maximum of 100 kHz for interpolated movement. Speed control uses an automatic trapezoidal acceleration and deceleration profile. Programs are stored in the integrated RAM with a capacity of 7.8 k steps. In addition to the positioning commands, the module processes sequence and application instructions. Position specifications can be made in millimeters, degrees, inches or pulses; relative and absolute specifications are provided. For order-related procurement with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations, the two-axis FX2N-20GM can be technically classified by these motion and programming characteristics. For manual operation, there is forward and reverse travel as well as machine reference travel. External manual pulse generators supply open-collector signals with a maximum of 2 kHz. The connection structure separates general inputs and outputs from the signals of the drive units. The basic unit provides eight general inputs and eight general outputs. The signals FP and RP output the forward and reverse pulses, CLR is used to reset the counter. Separate connections lead to the drive units of the X and Y axes. The supply is 24 V DC with 10 W power consumption; deviations of −15 to +10 percent are permissible. The housing has a mount for 35-mm DIN rails. In operation, 0 to 55 °C and 35 to 85 percent relative humidity without condensation apply.

Mitsubishi Electric FX2N-20GM The item supplied will have the stated manufacturer or type number and the stated condition category. Serial number, manufacturing date, labels, colour, packaging and normal signs of use or storage may differ.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Contact us
Which interpolation types does the FX2N-20GM offer?

The FX2N-20GM offers linear and circular interpolation for two jointly controlled axes. The axes can also operate independently.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.

Which payment terms apply?

The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.

Can I request individual pricing for several items?

You may request an individual quotation for several items or larger quantities. We then check availability and pricing for the specific requirement; there is no entitlement to a quantity discount. Open the quick enquiry.

Do you also purchase industrial spare parts?

Yes. You can offer us automation and drive components for purchase. Please provide complete type numbers, quantities, condition details and photographs where possible.

After review, we will tell you whether a purchase is possible and on which terms. Learn more about selling industrial stock.
