Product description

The Mitsubishi Electric MR-J3-200BS4 is integrated into the corresponding servo controller via the SSCNET-III interface. The complete identifier denotes a safety servo amplifier from the MELSERVO-J3 series with 2 kW rated power and 400-V power class. Mitsubishi implements an integrated Safe-Torque-Off function for the MR-J3-BS version. Stop Category 0 is implemented via STO; Safe Stop 1 is provided in the documented safety concept together with the safety logic module MR-J3-D05. Communication between controller and amplifier takes place via SSCNET III. The documentation specifies a three-phase input voltage of 380 to 480 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz for the main circuit. The permissible voltage range is from 323 to 528 V AC, the input rated current is 5.1 A. On the output side, a three-phase rated voltage of 323 V AC and 5.4 A output rated current are available. The control circuit is supplied single-phase with 380 to 480 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz. The type coding assigns the number sequence 200 to the power class 2.0 kW and the final digit 4 to the 400-V version. The letter B identifies the SSCNET-III version, S the safety variant. The open, fan-cooled housing is described for installation in control cabinets. Its external dimensions are 168 mm height, 90 mm width and 195 mm depth; the documented mass is 2.3 kg. Mitsubishi specifies an ambient range of 0 to 55 °C during operation and -20 to 65 °C for storage, in each case without icing. The permissible relative humidity is up to 90 percent without condensation. Indoor locations without direct sunlight and altitudes up to 1,000 m above sea level are specified for the installation site. The specific type identifier MR-J3-200BS4 thus combines the 2-kW power class, SSCNET-III connection and safety version in the 400-V series.
