Omron CJ1W-ETN21 is an Ethernet unit for programmable controllers in the SYSMAC CJ series. The module is classified as a CJ-Series CPU Bus Unit; the documented mounting positions are the CPU Rack and Expansion Rack. A maximum of four Ethernet Units per system, including Expansion Racks, is documented. Its single RJ45 communication port operates with 100BASE-TX and also supports 10BASE-T. Data transfer uses 100 Mbit/s or 10 Mbit/s, baseband modulation and a star network structure. Omron specifies unshielded or shielded twisted-pair cables as transmission media. Category 5 or 5e is specified for 100BASE-TX; Categories 3 and 4 are specified for 10BASE-T. The maximum distance between hub and network node is 100 m. Media access follows CSMA/CD. The manual specifies no cascade limit when switching hubs are used. The unit provides TCP/IP and UDP/IP socket services together with FINS communication over Ethernet. Omron documentation also describes an FTP server, SMTP functions and automatic clock adjustment services. Node and Unit numbers are set directly with the rotary switches on the front. Status indicators show Run, Link, transmit and receive states, among others. The front connection is identified as one RJ45 Ethernet TCP/IP port. Current consumption is no more than 370 mA at 5 V DC. Omron specifies enclosure dimensions of 31 × 90 × 65 mm and a maximum weight of 100 g for CJ1W-ETN21. These values apply to the compact CJ version and not the larger CS1W-ETN21 version identified in the same Omron network manual.

Which Ethernet standards does Omron CJ1W-ETN21 support?

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
