Ethernet and BACnet MS/TP form the two central communication levels of the Schneider Electric BCX1-CR-32. The controller/router from the Andover Continuum bCX1 series provides 10/100BASE-T through an RJ45 socket. Its BACnet fieldbus uses MS/TP over RS-485, and this version covers 32 MS/TP nodes. Two additional communication connections operate as RS-232 interfaces: COMM1 uses a DB9 connector with full DTE pin assignment, while COMM2 uses an RJ45 connector with a reduced signal set. Power can be supplied at 24 V AC and 50 or 60 Hz, with a specified power demand of 40 VA. Alternatively, the controller accepts 12 to 28 V DC at 25 W. It requires an independent supply that is separate from the connected field devices. Non-volatile flash memory stores the operating system, application program and configuration data. A NiMH battery backs up working memory and the real-time clock for approximately 30 days when the power supply is interrupted. Up to two xP I/O modules and one xP Display connect through the xP Expansion Bus. The expansion connection supplies a maximum of 400 mA at 24 V DC, and the total expansion cable length is limited to 3 m. The unit is installed inside another enclosure. At 213 mm wide, 139 mm high and 62 mm deep, the BCX1-CR-32 has a shallow mounting profile. The documented weight is 0.48 kg.

Which network interfaces does the BCX1-CR-32 provide?
The controller/router provides 10/100BASE-T Ethernet through RJ45 and BACnet MS/TP over RS-485. The BCX1-CR-32 version covers 32 MS/TP nodes.
How is the Schneider Electric BCX1-CR-32 powered?
Power can be supplied by either 24 V AC at 50/60 Hz or 12–28 V DC. Power demand is 40 VA with AC supply and 25 W with DC supply.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?
The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.
A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?
The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.
International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.
Can I request individual pricing for several items?
