Product description

The integrated braking resistor has 120 ohms, withstands 50 watts continuously and up to 5 kW briefly. The device measures 100 × 400 × 320 millimetres, weighs approximately 3.1 kilograms and is cooled by natural convection. The protection rating of the servo amplifier is IP20. The documented value for ELAU order number is 13 13 02 44. Documented identifiers and values: MC-4/11/01/400; MC-4; 380; 480 V; 10; 10; 48; 62 Hz; 24 V; 15; 25; 530; 680 V; 165; 820 V; 800 V; 860 V; 1 A; 8 kHz; 75. The braking branch switches on at 820 V DC and off at 800 V DC; the documented overvoltage threshold is 860 V DC. The control and electronics are supplied with 24 V DC at 1 A; the permissible voltage range extends from −15 to +25 percent. On the motor side, the controller provides a continuous output current of 1.5 Aeff at an 8 kHz switching frequency. The documented value for Mains voltage is 3 AC 380 to 480 V (−10 % / +10 %). The mains frequency range is 48 to 62 Hz. The internal DC bus operates between 530 and 680 V DC and has a capacitance of 165 µF. A peak current of 3.75 Aeff is available for one second. The Schneider Electric MC-4/11/01/400 is a servo amplifier from the former ELAU PacDrive MC-4 family for dynamic single-axis drives in machinery and production systems. During replacement, the complete type number is decisive because mains voltage, current, output and mechanical design differ within the MC-4 range.

Schneider Electric MC-4/11/01/400 The item supplied will have the stated manufacturer or type number and the stated condition category. Serial number, manufacturing date, labels, colour, packaging and normal signs of use or storage may differ.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Contact us
What performance data does the Schneider Electric MC-4/11/01/400 provide?

The servo amplifier delivers 1.5 Aeff continuous current at 8 kHz and 3.75 Aeff peak current for 1 s. The rated output is 1.1 kVA.

What mains voltage is the MC-4/11/01/400 designed for?

The order variant operates on three-phase mains from 380 to 480 V AC with a tolerance from −10 to +10 percent. The control electronics require 24 V DC.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.

Which payment terms apply?

The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.

Can I request individual pricing for several items?

You may request an individual quotation for several items or larger quantities. We then check availability and pricing for the specific requirement; there is no entitlement to a quantity discount. Open the quick enquiry.

Do you also purchase industrial spare parts?

Yes. You can offer us automation and drive components for purchase. Please provide complete type numbers, quantities, condition details and photographs where possible.

After review, we will tell you whether a purchase is possible and on which terms. Learn more about selling industrial stock.
