Compact cabinet mounting and protection class IP20 characterize the design of the SEW-Eurodrive UFD11A-00. The external fieldbus gateway connects a DeviceNet scanner to inverters on the SEW system bus SBus. Mounting is done directly on the cabinet wall or via a DIN rail bracket. Screw terminals handle the fieldbus and system bus connections. The gateway supports up to eight connected inverters. For each participant, three process data words are provided by default in the automatic setup. Overall, UFD11A accepts between one and 24 process data words. Setpoints run from the DeviceNet scanner via the gateway to the inverters; actual values and status information are combined in the opposite direction. Explicit messages additionally provide the parameter channel. DeviceNet MAC-ID, baud rate and process data length are set via DIP switches. Supported are 125, 250 and 500 kBaud. The autosetup function detects participants on the SBus and saves the detected configuration. Status LEDs show bus, I/O and system states. A serial interface is available for parameterization and diagnosis; PC connection is made via the UWS21A interface adapter and MOVITOOLS. The bit strobe input maps the inverter status into two bytes. Polled I/O transmits the cyclic process data. In case of fieldbus master failure, the gateway sends zeros as process output data to the connected drives and reports the communication state via the front LEDs. The operating temperature range is from minus 10 to plus 50 °C. The module format of the UFx gateway family measures approximately 75.4 × 144 × 106 mm. The variant-specific weight is around 0.22 kg. Protocol, MAC-ID range, process data width, connection type and full type number UFD11A-00 determine the unique technical device assignment.

How many inverters does SEW UFD11A-00 manage?
The gateway supports up to eight SBus participants and assigns process data words to each participant.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?
The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.
A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?
The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.
International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Can I request individual pricing for several items?
