Product description
With a tachogenerator and a rotor position encoder, the Siemens 1FT5046-0AF21-1-Z combines the electrical feed drive with two separate feedback tasks. The tachogenerator supplies the speed feedback, while the rotor position encoder detects the position of the rotor. This combination belongs to the described version of the SIMOTICS 1FT5 motor series and, alongside the electrical key data, is an essential feature for the technical classification of an existing axis. As an AC feed servo motor, the device forms the motor side of the drive. The associated DC link voltage is 600 V DC; this value refers to the DC link and is not a specification for a direct connection to the AC mains. For this version, 2.5 Nm under the reference condition 100 K and a speed of 3000 U/min are stated. Torque and thermal reference condition belong together and are not presented as an unconditional maximum value. In the specific order with shipping to the United States and other international destinations, this electrical and mechanical version remains assigned under the complete type number. The motor operates with self-cooling. A separate external fan is therefore not part of the described cooling principle. The mechanical design is IM B5, supplemented by the mounting positions IM V1 and IM V3. These details describe the flange version and its spatial arrangement. The degree of protection is IP64. Power connector and signal connector are provided separately for the electrical connection. What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
