For the feedback of a controlled feed axis, Siemens 1FT5102-0AC71-2 combines two encoder functions: a tachogenerator and a rotor position encoder. Speed feedback via the tachogenerator and detection of the rotor position are therefore part of this AC feed servo motor. As a motor of the 1FT5 series, it forms the electromechanical part of the drive; the electrical supply is provided via the associated drive system. The connection version separates the terminal box for power from the signal connector for feedback. These connection types are just as much part of the technical identity as the electrical voltage class. For 1FT5102-0AC71-2, a DC link voltage of 600 V DC is specified. The DC link value describes the supply level of the drive and is to be distinguished from a motor mains connection voltage. The torque-related characteristic value is 33 Nm at 100 K overtemperature, the associated speed 2000 min⁻¹. When comparing different feed motors, torque, thermal reference and speed each remain independent characteristic values. The temperature reference is explicitly part of the 33 Nm specification. How are power and signals connected?
The 1FT5102-0AC71-2 has a terminal box for the power connection and a signal connector.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
