On its 4.5-inch screen, the Siemens 6AV6641-0CA01-0AX1 displays operator screens at a resolution of 160 × 64 pixels. The SIMATIC HMI OP 77B uses a monochrome yellow-green backlit STN display. The active screen area measures 102.38 × 40.94 mm; contrast and backlighting are coordinated with the graphical display. The panel is operated by a membrane keyboard instead of a touchscreen. It has 23 system keys and eight configurable softkeys, four of them with LED. Two labelling strips are assigned to keys F1 to F4 and K1 to K4. For communication, the OP 77B has a switchable RS-422/RS-485 interface for MPI and PROFIBUS DP. RS 232 and a USB port for peripherals and project transfer are also available. Internal working memory is 1 MByte. A slot optionally accepts a Siemens MMC as external storage. Engineering uses WinCC flexible 2004 Compact or a newer designated version. What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
