The operating interface of the Siemens 6AV3688-3ED13-0AX0 comprises 32 short-stroke keys and 32 associated area LEDs. The SIMATIC HMI PP17-II DP is therefore a hard-wired push-button panel rather than a graphical display device. 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs are available for external signals on coded terminals. The outputs are arranged in groups of four. Each channel switches a maximum of 100 mA with a resistive load; a total maximum of 500 mA is permitted per group. The output voltage is 24 V DC. The panel connects to the controller through PROFIBUS DP at a transmission rate of up to 12 Mbit/s. Supply and field signals are routed through separate connection areas. The rated supply is 24 V DC, with a permissible range from 18 to 30 V DC. At the front, the operator device meets protection rating IP65. The aluminium front holds the key and LED fields in a compact mounting form. The short-stroke keys are specified for 1.500.000 switching cycles; the LEDs are rated for 100 percent duty cycle. STEP 7 Basic and Professional in the TIA Portal are available for configuration. S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-300/400 and WinAC are provided as process connections. An automatic key and indicator-light test supports commissioning. The permissible operating temperature range is 0 to 55 °C. For storage and transport, −20 to 60 °C applies, with a maximum relative humidity of 95 percent during operation. The panel cut-out measures 226 × 190 mm. The complete order number distinguishes the DP version from the PP17-II-PN variants. The panel measures 240 × 204 × 53 mm and weighs 1,130 g unpackaged.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
