For operation on European mains, the Siemens 6AV7615-0AB12-0CH0 has an input for 115 to 230 V AC. The device belongs to the SIMATIC Panel PC 670 range and combines the computer unit with a 15.1-inch operator front. Its colour TFT displays 1024 × 768 pixels. Operation uses a membrane keyboard with alphanumeric, numeric, cursor and control keypads; function keys, softkeys and an integrated piezo mouse are also part of the front equipment. A USB interface is provided there for external peripherals. When mounted with clamps and a continuous gasket, the front reaches up to IP65. Inside, a Pentium III processor running at 500 MHz works with 64 MB of memory. Mass storage comprises a 20-GB hard drive and a CD-ROM drive. The operating system version is Windows NT 4.0 in German. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
