The Siemens 6DD1607-0CA1 is the EXM 438-1 input/output expansion module for the FM 458-1 DP application module within the SIMATIC S7-400 system. It expands the FM 458-1 DP with fast digital and analog process signals as well as connections for incremental and absolute encoders. The module communicates internally with the FM 458-1 DP over the fast LE bus; it is powered through the S7-400 P bus and an externally supplied 24-V-DC voltage. Siemens specifies 16 digital inputs, 8 short-circuit-protected digital outputs, 5 analog differential inputs and a total of 8 analog voltage outputs. The rated input voltage of the digital inputs is 24 V DC; for the standard channels, Siemens specifies a maximum input delay of 200 µs for the transition from 0 to 1. Which signals does the Siemens 6DD1607-0CA1 expand?

What resolution do the analog outputs provide?
Four analog outputs operate with 16-bit resolution and four additional outputs with 12-bit resolution. The specified voltage range is -10 to +10 V for each output.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
