In the standard layout, the NC keypad Siemens 6FC5103-0AC02-0AA1 connects the control matrix with the associated keyboard interface of the SINUMERIK 840C. The assembly includes 64 inputs for 64 keys. Each key is polled individually, so the key matrix does not require grouped evaluation. The keypad operates at a signal level of 5 V DC. The specific version includes the keyboard interface. This distinguishes 6FC5103-0AC02-0AA1 from the variant 6FC5103-0AC01-0AA0 without this interface and from versions with US layout. The connection to the operating periphery runs via X111. This connector serves the keyboard matrix and softkeys; mechanically it is designed as a 20-pin ribbon connector according to DIN 41651. Two internal connection paths use X111: for connection X12 of the 14-inch color display and for connection X231 on the keyboard interface. The connecting cable belongs to the display assembly. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
