With an optional 24 V DC supply or power directly through AS-Interface, the Siemens 6GK1415-2BA20 links two AS-i segments to PROFIBUS DP. The DP/AS-i LINK Advanced is configured as a dual master and supports AS-Interface specification V3.0 and master profile M4. Each AS-i interface manages up to 62 slaves; the specified bus cycle time is 5 ms for 31 slaves and 10 ms for 62 slaves. Alongside the two AS-i connections, integration uses an RS-485 interface and an Industrial Ethernet interface. Supported protocols include PROFIBUS, TCP/IP, and SNMP. Digital I/O data is accessed through the process image or peripheral addresses, while analogue I/O data can additionally use data record transfer. An integrated web server, e-mail diagnostics, electrical isolation, and documented redundancy with Y-Link complement the communication functions. Electrical isolation separates the communication areas electrically. Digital and analogue I/O data is therefore connected at system level through the process image, peripheral addresses, or data record transfer according to the data type. Operation uses a fully graphical, illuminated LCD with 128 × 64 pixels. Additional LEDs indicate SF, BF, ON, APF, CER, AUP, and CM, among other states. Configuration is available through the operator display, web server, STEP 7, GSD, and command interface. The IP20 enclosure measures 90 × 132 × 88.5 mm and snaps onto a 35-mm-Hutschiene. The permitted operating range on a horizontal mounting rail is 0 to 60 °C. At a maximum current consumption of 250 mA, power loss is 7.5 W; net weight is 0.563 kg.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
