The Siemens 6SL3000-0DE25-5AA1 is an HFD mains reactor for controlled infeed and regenerative components in SINAMICS S120 and SIMODRIVE drive systems. The exact power class is intended for a 55-kW Active Line Module. Siemens specifies an effective rated current of 103 A for this frame size. The reactor limits low-frequency mains feedback, acts as an energy store for step-up operation of the infeed unit and reduces currents caused by mains oscillations. Together with a connected damping resistor, it also damps oscillations in the converter system. The HFD reactor is therefore an integral part of the mains-side power path and must be selected to match the Active Line Module used. The mains connection uses terminals 1U1, 1V1 and 1W1; the load side is identified by 1U2, 1V2 and 1W2. Siemens documents screw connections up to 70 mm² for the 55-kW version. The tightening torque for the mains conductors is 7 Nm, while 3.5 Nm is specified for the protective conductor. Power loss at rated operation is 350 W. The reactor may be installed in any mounting position and should be located as close as possible to the infeed component. This short cable routing is important for the intended function within the mains-side power path.
