Product description
From a nominal input voltage of 100 to 240 V AC, ABB SU/S30.640.2 generates a KNX bus voltage of 30 V DC with a rated current of 640 mA. The permissible wide-range input extends from 85 to 265 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz. An integrated choke isolates the supplied bus line from the power supply; the bus voltage range is 21 to 31 V DC. An overload current of 900 mA is specified for load peaks, while power loss remains below 10 W and power consumption below 60 VA. The uninterruptible version has a battery connection including a temperature sensor. Up to two parallel 12-V lead-gel batteries of equal capacity can be connected; the documented range extends from 1 Ah to twice 17 Ah. Separate LEDs indicate mains voltage, battery status, KNX bus voltage and overload. A potential-free changeover contact additionally signals mains failure, battery faults, and overvoltage, overload or short circuit on the bus line. The device belongs to the ABB i-bus KNX range and carries order number 2CDG110275R0011. As a compact modular installation device in pro M design, it occupies eight space units on a 35-mm mounting rail. IP20 protection, protection class II and an operating temperature range of −5 to +45 °C define the environmental limits. Dimensions are 90 × 140 × 63.5 mm and device weight is 0.398 kg.
