Control Techniques SP2401 is a variable frequency drive from the Unidrive SP series for demanding speed, torque and positioning tasks in industrial machinery. The unit operates on three-phase supplies from 380 to 480 V AC with a permitted tolerance of ±10 %. In Normal-Duty operation, it is rated at 7.5 kW or 10 HP and 15.3 A. For Heavy-Duty and servo applications, it provides 5.5 kW or 7.5 HP at 13 A. The platform supports V/f control, Open-Loop vector control, Closed-Loop control, servo operation and regenerative applications. The SP2401 can therefore be used in conveyor systems, packaging machinery, production lines and dynamic axis applications when the motor, feedback and machine engineering match the version. An RS-485 interface with Modbus RTU enables serial communication. Three option slots extend the drive with suitable feedback, communication or application modules. A braking chopper is provided for dynamic braking; the SP2401 is specified with a minimum braking resistance of 19 Ω and a short-term braking power of 33.1 kW. Selectable switching frequencies range from 3 to 16 kHz, while the Open-Loop output frequency range reaches 3,000 Hz. During replacement, the complete type number, mains voltage, motor power, current class, feedback system, option modules, braking resistor and saved parameter set must match. The safety chain, motor connection and EMC concept must also be checked against the machine documentation. The SP2401 is therefore suitable as a type-specific spare part for existing Unidrive-SP installations without assuming general interchangeability with other frame sizes or power stages. Before removal, the parameter set, option assignment and motor feedback should be assigned clearly to the machine and documented completely. A full parameter backup simplifies controlled recommissioning.

Can we return items if they were ordered incorrectly?
Because we sell exclusively to business customers (B2B), there is no general right of return and no consumer right of withdrawal.
Please note that returns of functioning goods are generally excluded. In justified exceptional cases, we can assess an individual solution, but this is not the standard procedure.
