The Lenze 00401423 is an EMF2131IB fieldbus module for integrating compatible Lenze drive controllers into PROFIBUS-DP networks. As a plug-on AIF expansion module, it connects the 820X, 821X, 822X, 8200 vector and 93XX device families to a higher-level PROFIBUS controller. Communication takes place as a slave through the physical RS485 interface and the PROFIBUS-DP profile according to DIN 19245 parts 1 and 3. The DRIVECOM profile 20 is also relevant for drive replacement. The module detects the baud rate automatically and covers 9.6 kbit/s to 12 Mbit/s. Depending on the configuration, four or six bytes of process data are transferred, with additional access to Lenze parameters. The power supply is 24 V DC ±10 % with a maximum current consumption of 60 mA. The fieldbus uses a 9-pin Sub-D connection. The module has an IP20 enclosure and is designed for ambient temperatures from 0 to 50 °C. In a line topology, cable lengths up to 1,200 m are possible depending on baud rate and cable type. For a reliable replacement, Lenze material number 00401423, the EMF2131IB type designation, hardware and software versions and the supported controller family must match. The station address, GSD configuration, process data length, parameter channel and bus termination must also be compared with the installed project. A separate 24-V supply is particularly important for 820X devices; other compatible controllers can supply the module internally or externally depending on their version. The module is therefore suitable for repairing and stocking established Lenze PROFIBUS drive axes where the PLC project, bus address and process data should remain unchanged.
