The Lenze EMF2111IB adds an INTERBUS interface to compatible drive controllers for integration into industrial control networks. It is an attachable, intelligent AIF communication module with a 16-bit microprocessor. As an INTERBUS slave, it transfers process and parameter data over a ring-shaped RS485 network. This enables setpoints, actual values and device parameters to be exchanged between a higher-level controller and Lenze drives. The module supports communication profile PCP 1.5 and DRIVECOM drive profile 21. Depending on the parameter setting, two process-data words with a total of 32 bits or three process-data words with 48 bits are available. A parameter-data word with 16 bits is added; the maximum combined quantity of process and parameter data is four words. Module ID 227, or E3 in hexadecimal notation, is documented for INTERBUS engineering. Up to 62 participants can be included in the network. The EMF2111IB is designed for Lenze devices including the 82XX, 8200 vector, 93XX, 9300 Servo PLC and Drive PLC families. Communication can be maintained through an external 24 V DC ±10 % supply drawing a maximum of 150 mA when the associated drive controller is switched off. The specified operating conditions are 0 to 55 °C, IP20 protection, pollution degree 2 and climate class 3K3 without condensation. The offered used module additionally carries type code 33.2111IB.2A.30 and identification number 00394821. Separate Sub-D connectors for the incoming and outgoing bus and status indicators for the bus and drive are located on the front. For replacement, the type code, hardware version, software version, AIF compatibility and existing INTERBUS engineering should be compared together.
