With a housing width of 17.6 mm, the SICK WT18-3P410 combines the form factor of a rectangular retroreflective photoelectric sensor with background suppression. The sensor belongs to the W18-3 series and carries the SICK item no. 1025889. Its regular switching range extends from 50 to 700 mm; the maximum range is specified as 10 to 700 mm. Adjustment is made via a potentiometer with four turns. An infrared LED transmitter operates at 870 nm and produces a light spot of 20 mm diameter at a distance of 400 mm. The electrical supply is between 10 and 30 V DC. The device draws 55 mA without load. The PNP switching output is designed as anti-valve and can be operated in light-on or dark-on mode. The data sheet specifies a maximum output current of 100 mA. A response time of less than 700 µs and a switching frequency of 700 Hz describe the temporal behavior. Connection is made via a four-pin M12 connector; the connections are protected against reverse polarity, surge voltage, overcurrent and short circuit. The ABS plastic housing and PMMA optics have protection class IP67. An ambient temperature range of –40 to +60 °C is documented for operation, and –40 to +75 °C for storage. Two indicator LEDs on the front of the housing indicate light reception and active supply voltage. The mechanical construction includes a through-hole with a diameter of 4.1 mm. The housing measures 17.6 × 75.5 × 33.5 mm and weighs 40 g. The type designation P410 denotes this variant with PNP output, anti-valve switching function and M12 plug connection within the W18-3 series.

What is the switching range of the SICK WT18-3P410?
An adjustable switching range of 50 to 700 mm is specified for targets with 90 percent reflectivity; the maximum range extends from 10 to 700 mm.
What electrical output variant is the WT18-3P410?
The design features an anti-valve PNP switching output with light-/dark-switching function, maximum 100 mA output current and four-pin M12 connection.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
