As a drive-based motion controller, the Siemens 6AU1410-2AA00-0AA0 combines control and drive functions in the SIMOTION-D410-2-DP design. The D410-2 DP single-axis system includes a multi-axis option and processes up to eight axes; integrated drive control covers one axis in servo, vector or V/f mode. The minimum PROFIBUS cycle is 1 ms, while servo and interpolation cycles are specified at 0.5 ms. Memory comprises 122 Mbyte RAM, 20 Mbyte additional RAM for Java applications, a 60 Mbyte RAM disk, 108 kbyte retentive memory and 1.5 Gbyte persistent CF user memory. Communication is provided by one DRIVE-CLiQ interface, one Industrial Ethernet port and two PROFIBUS interfaces. PROFIBUS operates equidistantly and isochronously and can be configured as master or slave. I/O includes five DI, eight combined DI/DO, three F-DI, one F-DO, one analogue input and one encoder connection. The rated supply is 24 V DC with a permitted range of 20.4 to 28.8 V. Typical current draw is 800 mA and power loss is 20 W. Operation is specified from 0 to 55 °C and 5 to 95 % relative humidity. The integrated-fan D410-2 enclosure is rated IP20, measures 73 × 186.8 × 74.4 mm (W × H × D) and weighs 830 g.

Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
