The Heidenhain 312 215-14 is an incremental built-in rotary encoder from the ERN 1387.001 product series. The exact identification number is associated with version ERN 1387.001-2048 and connection code 62S14-70. Heidenhain describes the ERN-1387 series as encoders with integral bearings for installation in servo motors. The scanning system provides 2,048 lines per revolution with a system accuracy of ±20 arc seconds.
