Approximately 4 W power consumption without a connected encoder characterises the Heidenhain 337 481-01, a counter card from the IK 220 series. The expansion card installs directly in a PCI slot and provides two 15-pin D-sub inputs for Heidenhain encoders. The selectable interfaces accept 11 µA PP sinusoidal current signals, 1 V PP voltage signals, EnDat or SSI. The maximum input frequency is 33 kHz for 11 µA PP signals and 500 kHz for 1-V-PP signals. The interpolation electronics subdivide one signal period by up to 4096. A 12-bit interpolation value and a 32-bit period counter form a 44-bit measured value, which is stored in a 48-bit register. Internal memory holds 8191 position values, while the firmware operates with a cycle time of 25 µs. Values can be captured by software, external latch inputs, internal timers or when a reference mark is crossed. Offset, phase and amplitude of sinusoidal encoder signals can be adjusted through software. With Heidenhain cables, specified lengths are up to 60 m for 11 µA PP and 1 V PP, 50 m for EnDat and 10 m for SSI. The card measures approximately 190 × 100 mm. Its operating temperature range is 0 to 55 °C, and its storage range is −30 to 70 °C. The complete identification number clearly distinguishes the IK-220 card from accessory boards and connection adapters during technical product identification.

The card uses the PCI bus, subdivides sinusoidal signals by up to 4096 and stores 44-bit measured values in 48-bit registers.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
