The Schneider Electric MC-4/11/10/400 is a digital servo amplifier from the established PacDrive M range originally developed by ELAU. With 10 A rms rated current at 8 kHz, 25 A peak current for one second, and 6.9 kVA rated power, the unit supplies dynamic servo axes in packaging, handling, and production machinery. The power input is three-phase 380 to 480 V AC at 48 to 62 Hz; the electronics and control signals require 24 V DC. The DC link operates from 530 to 680 V DC and has 330 µF capacitance. An internal 60 ohm braking resistor handles up to 100 W continuously and 10 kW briefly, depending on the application. Existing PacDrive M architectures can use the SERCOS fibre-optic connections, diagnostic interface, motor connection, and SinCos motor encoder connection with RS485 parameter channel. The internal temperature-controlled fan switches on at 55 °C, while the IP20 enclosure is intended for control-cabinet installation.
