SEW-Eurodrive DFS21B is a PROFINET IO fieldbus interface with PROFIsafe. It connects suitable SEW drive systems to higher-level automation and safety controllers. Two RJ45 ports with an internal switch and auto crossing support Ethernet line topologies. The interface operates at 100 MBaud in full-duplex mode based on Ethernet II. PROFINET IO is supplemented by HTTP and SMLP services for diagnostics and commissioning; ARP and ICMP are supported as Ethernet services. External power at X26 is 24 V DC with a tolerance of −15 to +20 percent. Maximum current consumption is 200 mA and maximum power consumption is 3.4 W. The F address is adjustable from 1 to 1022 through DIP switches. The safety function reaches SIL 3 according to IEC 61508 and PL e according to EN ISO 13849-1. The system structure is 1oo2D, a two-channel architecture with diagnostics. PFHd is below 1 × 10⁻⁹ per hour. Safe digital output F-DO operates at 24 V DC with a rated current of 1 A. The individual DFS21B fieldbus module measures 140 × 100 × 30 mm in length × width × height order and weighs 0.14 kg. UOH11B is a distinct gateway housing with a different form factor. Type number, firmware, GSD file, F address and safety configuration define the module's specific configuration.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.
